Seven Spires Walcott - Terms and Conditions (Updated 15th February 2021)

Cancellation Policy

A 25% deposit is payable upon booking to secure your stay. You will receive a confirmation email with details of your reservation. Bookings must be paid for in full 6 weeks prior to arrival. Payments can be made by credit or debit card online through our secure online booking system.

Any cancellations must be made in writing via email.

Please note that bookings made via Airbnb are bound by the Airbnb cancellation policy which may differ in some respects from the Seven Spires Walcott policy. By booking with Airbnb your booking contract is with Airbnb

Cancellation by Guest

Should you cancel your reservation up to 6 weeks before your arrival date you forfeit the 25% deposit paid upon booking. Should you cancel your booking within 6 weeks of your arrival date you will forfeit the total price of your stay.

Only if we can re let the dates of your planned stay will Seven Spires Walcott refund the cost of your stay, less £50 administration charge.

Inability of any/ all guests to travel or you decide not to take up your stay at Seven Spires Walcott for any reason.

Should you be required to self-isolate, shield or quarantine in relation to COVID-19 and this prevents you from staying at Seven Spires Walcott or be unable to complete your stay due to any other illness, unexpected personal circumstances, travel delay or breakdown, family emergency or jury service or military deployment for example, you will not have the right to cancel or receive a refund for your booking.

Only if we can re let the dates of your planned stay will Seven Spires Walcott refund the cost of your stay, less a £50 administration charge.

We suggest that guests take out travel insurance to cover any eventualities which may prevent you from making your stay at Seven Spires Walcott. If you do not take out travel insurance it is the responsibility of the guest, not Seven Spires Walcott for any loss which you incur if your booking can not take place.

Cancellation by Seven Spires Walcott

Should we need to cancel your stay we will give as much notice as possible and any monies paid will be refunded to you in full within 10 days.

Arrival and departure

Check in is from 4pm onwards. Check out is by 9.30am.

Prior to arrival, guests will be provided with a code for the key box. Seven Spires Walcott sleeps a maximum of two adults.

Smoking

Seven Spires Walcott is non-smoking accommodation. If you do wish to smoke, please use the gravel parking area, smoking is not permitted in the garden.

Pets

A maximum of one medium or two small dogs are welcome, however must be well behaved, friendly and fully house trained. To cover additional deep cleaning a charge of £30 per dog, per stay is applicable paid on booking. Dogs should never be left alone in the accommodation at any time and barking should be discouraged out of respect for our neighbours. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times whilst not in the barn. Dogs are not allowed on the bed or furniture to prevent damage, which we reserve the right to charge for following an inspection upon departure.

Parking

Please park in the designated parking space adjacent to the accommodation which is signposted. Cars are parked at your own risk and Seven Spires Walcott does not accept any liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred.

Log Burner

There is a log burner located in the lounge. Please follow the instructions given in the welcome literature, and in the property, to ensure your safety. Importantly, do not touch the flue pipe and always use the gloves provided when opening the log burner door. A Carbon Monoxide monitor is installed for your safety. Please ask if you require the ash to be removed as we will do this for you.

Do not place anything on top of the log burner when lit.

BBQ’s

Due to the size of the garden and the risk of fire we are unable to provide a BBQ. Disposable BBQs are not permitted either inside the garden or anywhere on the farm.

Hot Tub

Please closely follow the hot tub rules in the welcome literature and displayed in the garden for the use of the outdoor hot tub. In addition, please note the following.

- it is recommended that you do not consume alcohol prior to or whilst using the hot tub

- Strictly no glass must be taken into or in the vicinity of the hot tub (wine glasses, water glasses, glass bottles etc). Acrylic glasses and cups are provided.

- do not use the hot tub for prolonged periods.

- if you feel unwell or dizzy seek medical advice.

- if prolonged freezing temperatures prevent the use of the hot tub, we may need to remove the use of the hot tub so that it is not damaged. In these circumstances a refund will not be offered.

- please remove all jewellery to prevent damage to the hot tub.

Noise

We respectfully ask that guests keep noise to a minimum. Whilst we are happy for guests to play music quietly outside, please no not play music outside after 9pm in consideration for our neighbours. Please use headphones if you wish to listen to music outside later.

Damage

Please inform us of any damage, using the contact details in the welcome guide. If faults or damage reported at the end of stay cannot be addressed, you will be responsible for the damage and charged accordingly, including any damage to the hot tub.

No items of furniture, bedding, or any equipment provided for your stay is to be moved from the accommodation. Please note that in order to be kinder to the environment and reduce plastic waste we provide refillable toiletries for guests so please do not remove these from the accommodation.
