Seven Spires Walcott - Terms and Conditions (Updated 14th April 2025)
Bookings are provisional until confirmed by Seven Spires Walcott.
Seven Spires Walcott accommodation sleeps a maximum of two adults (and one infant under one years).
Cancellation Policy
A 25% deposit is payable upon booking to secure your stay. You will receive a confirmation email with details of your reservation. Bookings must be paid for in full 6 weeks prior to arrival. Payments can be made by credit or debit card online through our secure online booking system or via bank transfer.
Any cancellations must be made in writing via email.
Please note that bookings made via third party agents are bound by their cancellation policy which may differ in some respects from the Seven Spires Walcott policy. By booking with a third party agent, your booking is with them.
Cancellation by Guest
Should you cancel your reservation up to 6 weeks before your arrival date you forfeit the 25% deposit paid upon booking. Should you cancel your booking within 6 weeks of your arrival date you will forfeit the total price of your stay.
Inability of any/ all guests to travel or you decide not to take up your stay at Seven Spires Walcott for any reason.
Should you be unable to complete your stay due to COVID 19 or any other illness, unexpected personal circumstances, travel delay or breakdown, family emergency or jury service or military deployment for example, you will not have the right to cancel or receive a refund for your booking.
Only if we can re let the dates of your planned stay will Seven Spires Walcott refund the cost of your stay, less a £50 administration charge.
We suggest that guests take out travel insurance to cover any eventualities which may prevent you from making your stay at Seven Spires Walcott. If you do not take out travel insurance it is the responsibility of the guest, not Seven Spires Walcott for any loss which you incur if your booking can not take place.
Cancellation by Seven Spires Walcott
Should we need to cancel your stay we will give as much notice as possible and any monies paid will be refunded to you in full within 10 days.
Arrival and departure
Check in is from 4pm onwards. Check out is by 9.30am.
Prior to arrival, guests will be provided with a code for the key box. Seven Spires Walcott sleeps a maximum of two adults.
Children
One child under 1 years of age can be accommodated and must be advised before arrival. A travel cot and high chair can be provided. No children of any age are permitted to use the hot tub or sauna at any time.
Smoking
Seven Spires Walcott is non-smoking or vaping accommodation. If you do wish to smoke or vape, please use the gravel parking area, smoking and vaping is not permitted in the garden.
Candles
The use of candles is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the accommodation.
Pets
We are unable to accommodate any pets
Parking
Please park in the designated parking space adjacent to the accommodation which is signposted. Cars are parked at your own risk and Seven Spires Walcott does not accept any liability for any accidents, damage or loss incurred.
Electric Car Charging
We do not currently have an electric car charging point and guests are not permitted to charge electric cars using electric points on the premises.
Log Burner
There is a log burner located in the lounge. Please follow the instructions given in the welcome literature, and in the property, to ensure your safety. Importantly, do not touch the flue pipe and always use the gloves provided when opening the log burner door. A Carbon Monoxide monitor is installed for your safety. Please ask if you require the ash to be removed as we will do this for you. Please do not put warm/ hot ashes in any bins.
Do not place anything on top of the log burner when lit.
BBQ’s
Due to the size of the garden and the risk of fire we are unable to provide a BBQ. Disposable BBQs are not permitted either inside the garden or anywhere on the farm.
Hot Tub Use
Please closely follow the hot tub rules in the welcome literature and displayed in the garden for the use of the outdoor hot tub. In addition, please note the following.
- solo bathing is not permitted
- it is recommended that you do not consume alcohol prior to or whilst using the hot tub
- Strictly no glass must be taken into or in the vicinity of the hot tub (wine glasses, water glasses, glass bottles etc). Acrylic glasses and cups are provided.
- do not use the hot tub for prolonged periods.
- if you feel unwell or dizzy seek medical advice.
- if prolonged freezing temperatures prevent the use of the hot tub, we may need to remove the use of the hot tub so that it is not damaged. In these circumstances a refund will not be offered.
- please remove all jewellery to prevent damage to the hot tub.
- no children of any age are permitted to use the hot tub at any time
- no submersion due to risk of entrapment
- take care when entering/ exiting the hot tub as surfaces may be slippery when wet.
Sauna Use
The Sauna operates on a token basis with a three hour session per token on an automatic timer. One token is provided for each day of your stay, which reflects recommended use (for example 2 night stays receive 3 tokens). However, should you wish to use the sauna for additional sessions, extra tokens can be purchased at a cost of £10 each.
Please closely follow the sauna rules in the welcome literature and displayed in the garden for the use of the outdoor sauna. In addition, please note the following.
- it is recommended that you do not consume alcohol prior to or whilst using the sauna
- Strictly no glass must be taken into or in the vicinity of the sauna (wine glasses, water glasses, glass bottles etc).
- do not use the sauna for prolonged periods. Use the timer provided.
- if you feel unwell or dizzy seek medical advice.
- if prolonged freezing temperatures prevent the use of the sauna, we may need to remove the use of the sauna so that it is not damaged. In these circumstances a refund will not be offered.
- no children of any age are permitted to use the sauna at any time
- take care when entering/ exiting the sauna as surfaces may be slippery if wet.
Noise
We respectfully ask that guests keep noise to a minimum. Whilst we are happy for guests to play music quietly outside, please no not play music outside after 9pm in consideration for our neighbours. Please use headphones if you wish to listen to music outside later.
Damage
No items of furniture, bedding, or any equipment provided for your stay is to be moved from the accommodation. Please note that in order to be kinder to the environment and reduce plastic waste we provide refillable toiletries for guests - please do not remove these from the accommodation.
Please inform us of any damage, using the contact details in the welcome guide. If faults or damage reported at the end of stay cannot be addressed, you will be responsible for the damage
GDPR
All information collected by Seven Spires Walcott is kept in accordance with GDPR rules and not shared with any third party.
